On the 25th of September a segment was aired on Melbourne's current affair program A Current Affair titled "isagenix Exposed". 

This "report" aimed to discredit Isagenix, it's products and it's Associates.

A current affair's claims about isagenix

• That Associates don't make money. Yes. If you don't learn the profession, do the training or follow the business system and model, you won't make money. Effort in, Reward out. Simple.
• Products are shakes. There are over a dozen products in the whole Isagenix system. They are designed to be used synergistically as a whole. Only one product (the IsaLean Shake) was featured. The revolutionary product of the Isagenix Nutritional CLEANSING System is the Cleanse For Life™. This is the main product of the system which wasn't featured or mentioned, and sets Isagenix apart from anything else. None of the the revolutionary science behind the Isagenix product system was mentioned or discussed
• Associates make money by trying to "sell" the products. Not dissimilar to sharing a favourite restaurant, or film, sharing your experience and results on Isagenix can not only get you rebates on your products, but can also earn you extra income by playing it forward and showing others how to do the same. You can't recommend products that either you don't like, or that didn't work for you. Organically, Associates are having great success sharing the products with friends, family and others through the ease of social media and social interaction. Who wouldn't want a few extra dollars to cover your products, pay some bills, or just to take the pressure off a bit.
• The product is for weight loss Yes, one of the great side effects of Isagenix is weight loss, however everyone from weekend warriors, gym junkies, retirees, amateur sportsmen and elite athletes also use the Isagenix products for healthy ageing, lean muscle growth, and aid in training and recovery,  as well as to increase general wellness and health.
• That Isagenix is cult-like If being surrounded by people wanting to be happier, healthier, wealthier, to have more time freedom, and a better quality of life which is seeing them free themselves from the 9-5, spend more time with family, feel better about themselves and generally earn more to give more, then some can call it cult-like. Isagenix works when you do. People who expect quick results and quick money will soon be disappointed and quickly claim Isagenix is a scam. However,if you honour the Isagenix system, and follow the program 100%, YOU WILL GET RESULTS. Fact. 

Many people give up things that are challenging or push them outside their comfort zones, which normally results them in giving up. So in ALL instances it's the person that doesn't follow the Isagenix program and why they don't get the desired results and mostly likely in turn will claim Isagenix is a scam. In the instance where the results aren't 100% what was expected, Isagenix always offers a 100% no questions asked money back guarantee. So how exactly can Isagenix be a scam?

2. isagenix earns you quick cash

In life, the only way you earn quick cash is by winning the lottery or stealing it. Earning income from Isagenix is ONLY earned by working for it. The products are shared through positive experiences, and shared by genuine peer referrals shared on social networks like Facebook or Instagram or through social interactions like in-home presentations. Like referring a restaurant or a movie to a friend, Isagenix works the same way, except you get paid fairly and equally for your efforts.

Like anything in life, if you work hard for something you will get it.  Australian Olympian Natalie Cook strives for Gold with Isagenix.

Natalie Cook is no stranger to hard work and knows it takes focus to make dreams a reality. After just a handful of years playing volleyball, she received the call of a lifetime: did she want to go to the Olympics? Thus began her journey to five Olympics games playing sand volleyball.

“I quickly found out that when you’re in a bikini, you can’t hide your weight,” remembers Natalie. “After we won bronze in Atlanta in 1996, we knew we needed to look at my weight to prepare for Sydney in 2000.”
