Busting a gut and weight loss with Isagenix

How Matt Dunning lost over 33kg with Isagenix
Former Australian rugby star Matt Dunning was constantly ridiculed for his large size, until now.
The front rower went from 130 kilograms to 90 kilograms in less than six months, bravely documenting his amazing 40 kilogram weight loss transformation on social media.
"The response was not what I expected,” Dunning said.
The 35-year-old just about broke Twitter last week when pics of his impressive new frame started doing the rounds.
"I filled in for the local league team, the Berowra Wallabies, last year when they were short so they didn't have to forfeit," he explained. "I came off the field and someone sent me a photo, on August 4, and I saw it and thought, 'That's so embarrassing.' I reckon I was $1.30 [130kg] then.
“The Isagenix program involves two Isalean shakes a day which are really high in nutrients, minerals and vitamins and one meal a day of 600 calories [2510 kilojoules]. It also involves nutritional cellular cleansing a few days a month, and that’s pretty much it”
Then there's this: "I didn't stop drinking at all. That was the only thing I wasn't prepared to give up . Didn't stop drinking, hardly trained – it was all diet."
During his professional rugby career, Dunning's best playing weight was about 123kg, but he was doing about four to five days of weights a week. He retired in 2011, but will stay in the game by coaching Balmain subbies.
"The best thing is I'm wearing thongs again," Dunning said. "My Achilles and ankles would blow up when I wore thongs

"I expected a lot of blokes, especially, to go hard at me for doing that doing the old ‘selfie’ like Warnie did, but it's been quite the opposite - people have been really supportive and really encouraging,” he said.
The trigger for Dunning's incredible downsizing came when a mate snapped an unflattering photo of him after a cameo for the local league team.
"I was pretty embarrassed, pretty disappointed it was a bit of a lightbulb moment,” he said.
"The photo didn't only represent the weight but the way I had let myself go and I was looking at a bloke I didn't want to be."
Dunning documented his weight loss on social media, hitting back at critics who made fun of him for his size.
"The 35-year-old went from 25 per cent body fat to just 11 per cent in six months"
"I think we just over eat, just eat too much, you don't need to eat as much as you think you do,” Dunning said.
Old Australian teammate turned publican Bill Young could hardly recognise Dunning, describing him as ‘the only bloke he knows who has lost weight and got fit after footy’.
Dunning is coaching Balmain rugby by night and works in a new career in industrial real estate by day.
"As I did when I played football, I won't take life too seriously, but I'll take what I do very seriously, hopefully,” he said.
